Game of Throne’s Emilia Clarke shot by Norman Jean Roy for Harper’s Bazaar. The frock is by Proenza Schouler. For more images from the shoot click here.

I’ve been neglecting the latest season of GoT, I’ve been too busy watching the final season of Mad Men, and I will miss it, but I’m ready now to give Game of Thrones my full attention!  I will miss Mad Men though. Did I already say that?

This beautiful embroidered tulle and lace Valentino frock worn by Alana Zimmer was photographed by Liz Collins for Harper’s Bazaar March 2014 issue. The editorial looks like it could have been shot on a private farm maybe in England or maybe South Africa? South Africa is the obvious choice, but the house in one of the images looks very English, so your guess is as good as mine. I love the idea of a pet Giraffe though, don’t you? Click through the image to view more from this delightful editorial.

Have a wonderful weekend, wherever you are.

Russian model, Mama and fundraiser extraordinaire, Natalia Vodianova wears cotton and silk frock and feather bolero from Givenchy by Ricardo Tisci seen here in the September 2009 UK Harper’s Bazaar, photographed by Paola Kudaki. I admire this woman, her rags to riches story is the stuff of legend, I mean it’s so Disney-esque, I’m surprised a movie hasn’t been made of her story yet – oh wait, it has – it’s called Cinderella!

Seriously though, this woman is one dedicated philanthropist, which is lovely of course, her FB page  has a photos of her and her beautiful brood doing wonderful things with her charity for children in Russia.

Have a wonderful weekend, wherever you are!

The always fabulous Kate Moss in this gorgeous Gucci pleated silk frock. Photographed by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin for Harper’s Bazaar December 1999. She’s rockin’ that beret too by the way. Love it.

As healthy as I am trying to be lately, there is still something that is almost impossible to avoid during the winter months and that is the bloody head cold. I woke up at 1 am this morning with a horrid sore throat, snuffly nose, my head was pounding, you know the drill. My throat started feeling scratchy yesterday afternoon so I dosed myself up on Olive Leaf Extract, vitamin C and I’ve been drinking copious cups of hot lemon, ginger and Manuka honey tea. So far this morning my throat is feeling much better and my sniffles have dried up. I still feel headachy and there is a general feeling of malaise, but all in all I am hoping that if I keep up my arsenal of potions, I may just kick this thing! Part of my recovery plan is to also to spend the day snuggled on the couch with my girls watching Clueless and French Kiss together. It is raining outside after all.

Here’s to a better weekend for all!

love & light xx
