Jessica Stam in Dior by John Galliano, photographed at the Met Gala in 2007. I love the detail in the dress, it reminds me of a Jean-Paul Gaultier frock worn by Cate Blanchett to the Oscars in 2000. Click on the link to see Cate’s JPG frock. The gold and jewelled detailing with the backs on both these frocks were definitely the making of them.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend, wherever you are. It’s raining here, finally!
A sultry Kate Moss shot by Mario Testino for Vogue Spain for their December 2012 issue.
The gown is Christian Dior and the shoes are Manolo Blahnik.
She looks like a very elegant Christmas bauble.
Finally after weeks of practice and rehearsals, Annabel will be on stage tonight (and tomorrow) for her dance concert. I can’t wait to see her on stage, I wonder if this will be the year where I don’t burst into tears of joy and pride?
Le Breton. Always a favourite, you can never have too many!
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if bears were not ferocious, if we could cuddle them like this?
It’s strawberry season here. Did you know that strawberries are the only fruit with their seeds on the outside?
I love this whole look, inspired dressing for the summer?

Spending time with my girls.
Taking full advantage of my time off today. Work comes around so quickly, but it’s not so bad… the time spent with my family when I’m home is all the more sweeter these days. Hope your week is going well. xx
Kate Moss photographed by Tim Walker and styled by Grace Coddington for American Vogue, April 2012. Kate is wearing Christian Dior Haute Couture from the Spring 2012 collection. The images from the shoot which took place at The Ritz hotel have been doing the rounds on the internet. I found the image below a while before I saw the gown in all its glory in this beautiful image from Vogue.
This is the gown as it is being lovingly hand-sewn by the talented artisans at the House of Dior.
I would like to thank you for your patience this week, it has been a very trying time working out the issues with Blogger and why I couldn’t publish anything. It has been stressful and unpleasant, to say the least. But, I am happy to advise that very, very soon, I like, I wish, I heart will be moving to a new home Yippeeee! There is still a few technical details to sort out, and all my work from the last 4 years will transfer across with me to my new self-hosted website, so you will always be able to browse the archives. So until then,

We are all very excited about the lead up to Christmas here. My girls are getting ready for Santa, counting down the sleeps till his arrival.
We will be 17 strong for our Christmas day feast and I have no clue as to where everyone is going to sit, much less if I have enough plates, knives and forks and I know I certainly don’t have enough wine glasses… Oh well, we could always do two sittings I suppose!
