Give a frock Friday

Daria Werbowy wearing Nina Ricci from the Spring/Summer 2004 ad campaign. Photographed by none other than Patrick Demarchelier, this shot doesn’t look posed, it looks as if Patrick has stolen a moment, don’t you think? Daria is definitely one of my favourite models, she’s very good at what she does and even just sitting about in this pretty little lemon and lace number, she’s perfection. She has fabulous hair too, by the way.

Today was going great, all very normal until late this afternoon en route home from picking up Miss Annabel from her ballet class I get a call from hubby telling me he was en route to Emergency with Miss Chloè because she had been bitten by a dog on the thigh! My poor baby, we were all freaking out, but thank fully she is going to be just fine. She was very concerned about why a dog would want to bite her though. Can’t say I blame her really.  Why would anybody keep a dog that wasn’t trust worthy? Our Labrador Jet is the most placid, sweet-natured dog in the universe. No wonder Chloè didn’t see it coming, how could she when to her, all the dogs she knows are happy souls like her Jet?

Enjoy your weekend peeps. xx

  1. good grief, I hope your daughter is ok! Right now in the UK there has been big discussions about dogs/mail men/how to punish owners that don’t control their pets/etc. My son was bitten on the butt cheek (he was so embarrassed about the location) when he was about 6 or 7. I think the neighbors dog was excited by all the kids ridding their bikes, and running about, that it just went mad for a moment and latched on to my son’s bum. My son didn’t retain any scars physically or emotionally, but the dog was put down after that. Hopefully you and your daughter’s weekend will get better after today 🙂

    • Oh thanks for your lovely words and for sharing the story about your son’s dog bite. I think that most of us have been bitten at some time haven’t we? I think she is going to be fine. I don’t know what will happen to the dog, as it was on their property, not ours. I read that you’re leaving the blogging world, that’s too bad. but I understand. Glad that you popped by 🙂

      • yes, I didn’t feel like I had anything more to share, and I didn’t want to become one of those blogs that you read, and don’t get anything out of it and feel bored just doing it. I’m probably going to miss it a little, its a nice way to vent, share, and hopefully be helpful to someone. I’ll continue to pop by your blog, I love the fashion and the photos are always great.
