This is not Goodbye, it’s only Au Revoir

Hello to all my lovely, loyal followers and readers, and hello also to those of you just visiting.

I am going to be taking a short break from the world of blogging – not for long, just for a little while.

I am still going to be writing, but I am working on something that requires all of my creative energy to be focused on it and not scattered around on the world of fashion, style and design!

Please do continue to leave me your comments when you visit because they are always appreciated and I love reading your feedback!

Ciao for now, but not for too long…

Diane Kruger – Stylish Girl

I have never seen Diane Kruger get it wrong.  In my humble opinion, this is one lady who dresses for herself, not someone who dresses how they think others would like her to dress.  Garance Dorè wrote in her blog that Diane is her own stylist and does her own hair and make up – pretty different from the average Hollywood starlet wouldn’t you say?

Like most of the women whose style I admire, Diane has a very easy casual elegance, she doesn’t take herself too seriously.

Dressed down while hitting the shops.
At the 2008/2009 Chanel Resort show.  I love how she has dressed up her look in this gorgeous strapless mini, but kept it low-key in keeping with the resort theme with strappy sandals and a Trilby.
Plaid detail and gorgeous boots – a wintery winner.
Diane channels her inner man photographed here by Karl Largerfeld for VOGUE Deutsch.
One of my fav’s.  I love the pimento red colour and black accented shoulder detail.
Simple leggings, flats and comfy cardie while out shopping again.
Diane doing man-style again at an Inglorious Basterds premiere.
I love this Chanel dress – my girls love how it sparkles and the pendant sets it off perfectly.
Ciao for now!

I Heart Denim

 Chanel Cruise Collection 2010

Levi’s 501s on Sea of Shoe’s Jane Aldridge’s Mum, Judy.

Wide-leg denim and stripes = perfection!

Julia Roberts in boot-cut denim.

From the Spring 2010 runways.

Kate Hudson in her wide-leg jeans and cropped denim jacket – super cute!

I’m loving Kate Boswell’s relaxed jean – does anyone know what they are and where I can get a pair?

Everybody has a pair of favourites that have holes and patches, aren’t they the best?

Lady-like denim – channeling the 70s with her A-line skirt, caramel polo-neck and orange scarf.

Don’t you just love a denim dress?  Why is it so hard to find them in stores?

Reese looks great in her denim skirt and of course, the stripes hit the mark too!

 Old favourites, top-to-toe!

Hanneli and her gorgeous denim dress / overalls – overalls are making a comeback for sure!  Not an easy look to master, but with the right fit, they can be your best friend.

The look that is so right now – jeans, blazer, t-shirt and wedges.

Jessica Alba looking chic in her denim skirt.

Denim is so versatile, you can do probably anything with it, skirts, dresses, overalls, bags, shoes, accessories, the list is endless.

Even re-working vintage denim into a kimono like my friend Laetitia does – isn’t she clever?
